The lyrics to this song go "Willoughby Wallaby Woo, an elephant sat on you. Willoughby Wallaby Waddie, an elephant sat on Maddie." Then you add each child's name as you sing. We go around the circle and add in the names that start with "W" and then the kids shout out the real name of their friend. They love this fun song that teaches rhyming so we thought we would create a classroom book so they can revisit it whenever they like! Since we have been reading Dr. Seuss books, we took a picture of each child with our Horton stuffed animal on their head. Then we printed the pictures with the words to the song, but left a space for them to write in their own name. We laminated the pages and bound them together to make a book. Now the kids can sing this funny rhyming song for the rest of the year!
